Words Have Power
Yes I believe that words do have power, it affects our lives. They have more power to harm others in our lives. Harmful words are the only way to destroy others self-esteem. Putting others down is a way that a person builds themselves up. The other thing is that they would let you hurt them. It hurts you more than them sometimes. There was a time when I was in the seventh grade when I was in the hall and my friend and I started to put down others. I stopped and told my friend to stop so he turned around and punched me in the gut. That goes to show you how words can harm others.

the opening sentence should be opened up in a different way. it sounds like your being asked a question.
i think that you did really good on what you wanted to say. but i think you should look at every side of thing and every aspect. but you have a really good concepet
words do have power. I agree. I like you subject and word choice. You could make it a little longer and chose better words
I really think that words do have power, however they aren't as powerful as actions. People can say bad things about you, and it can hurt, but you are the one who allows those words to really hurt you. For example, someone could say that they loved you and loved you, but if they abuse you, their words are not nearly as powerful as their actions. I think we care a little too much about what other people think about us.
In some way i agree with you words have power so do actions i think you should have added that in there
putting otheres down is a punk way to make your self feel better. Well atlest thats my oppinion. you need to make this longer
