Hunger Games

I think when Peeta says that he wants to die as myself he is being sincere. Peeta is a really kind and loyal person. When he first went into the games I thought he was being fake with Katniss the whole time. But when I found out that he was just working with the careers to protect Katniss that said a lot for me. It shows that he really does care for Katniss.

Even when they were getting prepared for the Hunger Games, you could tell that Peeta cares for her. I think in my opinion Peeta would do anything for Katniss. I think he has a lot of romantic feelings for Katniss. I think Peeta fears more than death that Katniss might die. I think he will do anything to keep her alive even if that means sacrificing his own life.

Peeta is afraid that the games will turn him into a monster. They will make him not be him self turn him into something that he would never want to be. I think Peeta is still being himself in the games because he was with the Careers to protect Katniss and ended up saving her life. In my life if never had anyone say that they want to die themselves, but I kind of relate it to using drugs. It turns you into someone that you would never want to be. You have to fight to stay alive when you’re using drugs, and it really does turn you into a monster. It’s hard to get out of it but when you do it will totally be worth it. So in conclusion I don’t think Peeta will change. I think he will stay the same guy that he has always been, and he is continually going to do whatever he can to protect Katniss.
