Hunger Games
I believe Peeta meant that he wanted to be true to everyone and show people he was a good person at heart. He is a simple teenager fighting for love and freedom. He has a choice whether to keep fighting or let his life end. I think that if you go about things as yourself and not as someone your not, things go by easier. Peeta fears that Katniss would die even more that he was going to die. This in all logic is cute and romantic. I know that when I was engaged to my ex I would do anything as long as she was happy and safe. I would jump in front of a vehicle to save her, take a bullet for her, and do anything to save her no matter the cost. I believe Peeta is a good person that he’s just trying to play all sides to save the girl he truly likes. It’s all about what your heart says and how you say it. Most people look for the good and want to see people smile and make people happy. In my life I try anything to make people laugh and smile even if it means going against my values and beliefs. Peeta saves Katniss when he could have taken her life. He is a good person and he does love Katniss even though sometimes he doesn’t show it, and everyone thinks he’s playing games. Truly I honestly think Katniss and him have really connected and made a strong connection, even though they don’t realize it. To conclude the passage I would like to say that Peeta is trying to be a good person but at the same time he doesn’t want to look weak. Is it good to hide your feelings deep down that’s up to you to decide? Personally I think its ok some of the time but sometimes its good to say your true feelings. But only in the right setting and time.
