Speak
I think that Melinda’s experience in ninth grade is very different compared to mine, because first of all I didn’t go through the pains of not having any friends and being a loner. I was liked by a lot of people. I believe that she has a bad attitude toward everything. I also think that she should speak up and tell someone exactly what happened at that party she went to. You can’t just sit there and expect nothing out of it. you will go through a lot of pains, worry, and withdrawal from the world. The only reason I know this is because I have been through the same thing she has been through. The only big difference is she doesn’t have as many friends as I did. So, I think that she should speak up and tell her parents or one of the school councilors. I also think that she should confront Andy (IT) about what he did to her. When she goes to school she should tell one of the school councilors, stay away from Andy, and just focus on her school work. This book speak makes you want to speak up for her and stand up for her, because of her situation.

I totally agree with you tim. i think she should have confronted him. it was the same for my 9 grade year. I knew every body, liked by many, hated by a few.
I agree on some parts. Yes, she had a bad attitude but, she was raped. Rape caused almost all of her problems. When she tells you about in years past, she tells you about how great life was. That is until the rape.
i agree with you i haven't been through all that an im betting most guys don't go through that. its messed up what Andy did to her an other girls. other then that you did a good job.
I agree and disagree with this. I think she has a bad attitude towards things because of the stuff she went through. Its harder to say that than it is to really do it.
Yeah i agree with you, i was also like by a lot of people just because i was out going and very social and i think that's what i think Melinda can work on is to be more social within school so she can make more friends and more people would wanna talk to her.
I agree with the attitude part. its all about the law of attraction. In melinda's case she always focused on how much people dispised her that they felt that vibe and treated her how she felt towards them.
I agree Melinda's life is different from some of us. We all come from a different backround, but we're all human living life the way we know how to. People need to understand how to get along with others.
I agree with you totally, Tim. I think Melinda should speak up and let the world know what happened to her. I know I didn't want to tell any body what happened to me because I was scared that people would judge me for what i went through. I didn't tell ANYBODY. I'm glad she spoke up at the end of the book, though.
i agree Melinda is way diffrent from us she comes from a diffrent background as me or someone ells she needs more attitude
