I think that Melinda thinks back on things too much to where she feels depressed about all the things she’s been through. I also think that she needs to take a chill pill and start talking to people, talk to a therapist, and get her problems out. That way she can get to know more people and find out what she needs to do. In her biology class, Melinda faints because of something that they are doing to the frogs. They pin the frogs arms and legs and it reminds her of when she was raped. She was pinned at the party. I think she really just needs to talk to someone about everything that happened and get it all out. I think that Heather the new girl will help her get the help she needs by going to the councilors about what has happened with her or something similar to that. One thing that I think that Heather will do is be her friend no matter what is going on with her. Even if Melinda starts cutting herself, Heather will be there for her. If Melinda and Heather stay friends for the rest of school then I believe that they will make it through all the challenges and changes in school.

i agree because she should not worry about the past and just worry about the future. she also needs to learn more about why they hate her alot other then the party thing
Melinda looms on the past, I agree. I don't agree with she needs to take a chill pill. For heavens sake she... never mind. I know what happens later in the book, but I do not want to give something away. I would have to say I disagree overall though.
Will i agree.With having Heather as a friend. She will help her with everything she needs help with.And with the therapist thing I don't know about that one. Sometime they don't have the right answers.
don't get me wrong but i don't think we heard about what happened at the party yet. but i think your right about the whole she needs to get help and get to know new people and for get the past. I truly be live that heather will help her with that to.

Malinda does need to talk to someone!. shes going to go crazy if she doesnt. I think heather and melinda are good friends, they are there good for each other.

tim i think shes scared and maybe she does not need to take a chill pill. how can someone relax when they just got raped. yes, she does need to open up and tell someone but it's not that easy.
i really like how you give your explaintion on this its true thats she proply thinks back on what happen to her so it causes her to reactt in a diffent way
